Twice a day the tide uncovers a part of the beach called the foreshore. This area between land and sea has always been a source of food for humans. Life is abundant but often hidden. At first glance, you don't see much, but as soon as you stop and take the time to observe, you can find all kinds of living organisms. Shellfish and crustaceans will be in the spotlight of this naturalist shellfish harvest. Boots on your feet, bucket and landing net in hand, come and walk the beach of Pennedepie with our guide so you don't miss anything of the surprising world of the foreshore.
