The beach is also home to many shorebirds such as oystercatchers, sandpipers, dunlins, ringed plovers and ruddy turnstones. They find shelter there when the tide rises, and when it goes out, they feed on the mudflats rich in worms, shells and small crustaceans.
Accompanied by a nature guide from the Maison de l’Estuaire, come and discover another side of the beach during a walk at low tide.
